Quasi-buddhist brother

My brother recently ‘married’ a woman from Thailand. He is, I think, desperately afraid of losing her. She gets him to buy things all the time, she easily orders him around such as forbidding him to go out at night, and, the worst of it is, he is toying with the idea of believing that he is a buddhist. Obviously, Buddhism doesn’t need to exist. Jesus has given us the Way to God. The ‘wife’ is very hard to communicate with, as she speaks English very poorly, and tends not reliably to acknowledge whether or not she has understood something. Their ‘wedding’ involved sacrifice to ancestors and the whole nine yards. I’m very worried that my non-baptised brother will end up rotting in buddhistville. Any suggestions?
