Hello, I am new here and want to learn more about connecting with God. I see people on here mentioning they pray at 3PM which I found out is the hour at which the Lord is most merciful (Please forgive me if that’s wrong), I wanted to know if it’s also okay to pray at 3:00AM and if the Lord still shows mercy at that hour.

I would also like to ask that you pray for my little 3 year old niece who is having minor surgery tomorrow and to also pray that my lost cat is safe and reunites with me soon. God bless you all.

Hi, I moved your post from Prayer Intentions because it’s for prayers only, not questions.
I’m sure people who see this in Spirituality will pray for your niece and to find your cat.

It is fine to pray to the Lord at 3 am or at any time. While it is a nice tradition to pray at 3 pm to commemorate Jesus’ death at that hour, God’s mercy is available to us any time 24/7 including 3 pm, 3 am, or 10:57 am or whatever. We are supposed to be praying “without ceasing.”

Traditionally 3 am is considered the hour when the devil is most active, so praying then counteracts evil. Although the devil is also busy at all other times and we can pray against evil any time too.
