Question about Boko Haram

They are “equal opportunity haters” when it comes to anyone who doesn’t subscribe to their narrow, obscurantist view of Islam. The Catholic Church, because it is well organized, provides an especially opportune target.

Probably given it represents to them the West (which they hate) and Christianity (which they hate) and non-Muslims (which they hate).
