Ok, our lay-instructor at RCIA last night said something that didn’t seem right to me. She commented that the Trinity is all about relationships. The Father created the world out of love for his Son, The Son acts in everything out of love of the Father and out of the love the Father and Son had for each other came the Holy Spirit.
I always thought the Trinity was eternal- all three persons of the Trinity have always existed. Is there any Catholic writing anyone can point me to that further explains my instructor’s views.
Does this sound right?
