The only thing I don’t like about St. Elias is they follow the Julian Calendar. Which means its hard to join Liturgies which would fall on regular work days.
Kudos to St. Elias! I’ve never looked at their calendar. My parish is on the so called “Revised Julian” which I only like because it’s the same exact calendar as the OCA parish I also frequent. Pascha being the feast of feasts I just want us to be on the Orthodox calendar for that, which with the “Revised Julian” we are. There is so much going on from the Nativity festal season through Forefeast of Theophany and Theophany … I use that as if we were celebrating the Nativity on old calendar.
