Seeing as Levi Strauss and Co. supports homosexuality and all, I am wondering if they support abortions as well. I would also like to know any other ridiculous things this company has been doing as of late.

You might be able to go to the Levi Strauss company website, click on a tab called “about us” or something like that, and see what their organization’s mission statement is, and whether the company has any investments in a cause that is objectionable.

I am so sick of companies getting involved with “causes” like that. Why can’t they just be a company that sells clothing and that’s all?

I should say, though, I think you’re not morally obligated to avoid these products, I could be wrong, but remember, if we only deal with non-sinners we couldn’t deal with anyone, but it’s your call. Personally, I just find a pair of cheap jeans that fit me and buy 3 or 4 identical pairs.

It’s fashion. If you insist on only buying from a fashion house that doesn’t support homosexuality, you’ll be wearing a burlap sack.😛

Well… If only someone would make clothes for me… Oh well.

Levi Straus is not in business to make blue jeans…they are in business to make money. If the gay community supports them in their endeavor to make money in a capitalist society…why should anyone care?

I am always amazed at how many people want to “punish” a company that markets it’s products to a group of people that will support it financially by purchasing their products.

I would dare say… that Levi Strauss is not concerned about a group of conservative Christians refusing to purchase their bluejeans because they found a large support in the gay community…what they “lose” in “christian” sales…they make up in “gay” sales.🤷

No need to bring abortion or homosexuality into it. Levis are absurdly overpriced to pay for their enormous marketing apparatus.

I buy Costco house brand jeans for $12. Real denim too - no burlap! 😉

If you want to be consistent in purchasing only from companies whose activities and advocacies are in line with your own beliefs, then you must do the research and be consistent. It also avails nothing if you boycott a company but do not let the shareholders know why. (the guy who sells the Levis could not care less so don’t complain to the store). If you are just going to pick and choose, don’t bother, you will have no moral credibility.
