Question about my new crucifix and rosary

I just got a new crucifix and rosary. I am going to get the rosary blessed this weekend. Until then is it ok for me to use it and to carry it around with me? And is there any special prayers that I need to pray before I hang my new crucifix up on the wall? And whats the best way to hang it up? thanks everyone

There’s nothing that I know of that you have to do. And I don’t believe the Rosary needs to be blessed to offer any help with prayer or just carrying it around. But blessing is still good for it

I always hang my crucifix on an east wall. The Bishop that Confirmed me told us to (they gave all of us a crucifix).
