Hi, I am attending RCIA classes and have a question about something that was said tonight by the Priest teaching the class.
We were talking about prayer and he said that you pray God’s will be done. I said, I have been told that you shouldn’t really pray God’s will be done because you can change God’s mind through prayer. He said NO, you can never change God’s mind, God already has a plan
So, is this correct? We can’t change God’s mind through prayer? If not, then why do we pray and why do we ask the saints and other people to pray for us?
Thanks,
Tracie
