Question about scientology

I was listening to Relavent Radio last night ( I love them by the way) and they were doing a peice on scientology. They were talking about how theyare practacly going to deafy Tom Cruise. That he is going to be like our Savior to them. Has any one else heard this and concerned about this? To me it almost sound like the Satan at work. I would appreciate any comments on this. Thanks and God bless

They quote David Miscavige who is, according to this site, davidmiscavige.rtc.org/, “Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center (RTC), a non-profit organization formed in May of 1982 to preserve, maintain and protect the Scientology religion.”
But the whole “religion” is a joke anyway - created by L.Ron Hubbard on a bet with his Sci Fi cronies that he could create his own religion. He won the bet but it’s really laughable that anyone could take any of that malarky seriously.
Hopefully, poor Tom Cruise won’t need to sacrifice his life for the ‘sins’ of L.Ron Hubbard.

Not just seriously, they kill for their religeon. So, thems pretty creepy folk them.

“Creepy” I can agree with, but “kill for their religion”?
This is the first I’ve heard anything like that.
On what basis do you make such a claim?

Makes sense, after all L.Ron Hubbard was a deranged lunatic who believed he was the anti-christ and practiced satanic rituals(including a satanic abortion ritual involving a coat hanger) at home. According to his son anyway.
