I have a question about the 54 Day Novena to Our Lady.
If you are not familiar this novena is a series of prayers and reflections connected to a daily recitation of the rosary. For 27 days you ask for a particular grace, followed by 27 days of thanking for that grace whether you have received it or not.
I was saying the prayer while looking for a job. I was looking for something on the radio or in the nonprofit sector, as these are my areas of expertise. 3 days into the novena I was hired as a college professor.
My question is: Should I change the remaining 23 days of asking for a grace to days of thanks (in addition to the 27 days of thanks)?
I feel a little silly praying for a job when I have one.
