Question about this situation (mortal sin)

There was a video in youtube that I thought it had a potential to make me sin (the thumbnail), but it wasn’t anything immature, and I knew that the video will probably be fine, as I watch that persons video often. No sin was involved, but was watching that a mortal sin?

Why don’t you ask your priest about your sin concerns. You seem to have quite a few to deal with.
 
Does this have to do with porn? I hope not, if so, no worries, seek G-d.

Okay, I don’t know the video in question, but you said you thought " it would probably be fine" and “no sin was involved”. I fail to see the “grave matter” in what you wrote. I also do not see an intent to commit a serious sin. Maybe you could use better judgment if you think something might have questionable content?

Be careful not to fall into scrupulosity.

It wasnt, the title wasnt anything related nor the video. Its just the thumbnail, nothing related as well but I thought it had the potential for me to sin. Im fine right?

As a scrupulant myself, I will advise you to NOT ask questions on the internet. These things are best handled dealing with a regular Confessor, who can give you much better advice.

You really need to pose these questions to a trained confessor. He can apply moral theology to your particular situation and if needed, absolve you if you had indeed sinned.
 
Yeah I’ll keep that in mind, but sometimes people online do help. But confessors probably know best

You are NOT going to be helped asking on an open forum. First, you are seeking reassurances from people , which is a compulsion, which will reinforce your scrupulosity.

Second, you will get a wide variety of opinions on here, some good, some bad, some downright harmful. This could confuse you even more.

Trust me, if you are having scrupulous impulses, talk to your confessor about your worries and doubts. That is by far and away the best way to deal with these issues.
 
Its just that i dont have a confesser right now, nor time for confession
 
I think you did right in asking. It’s good for people to ask about their troubles, maybe someone will think of something that helps that you haven’t thought of.
 
You are polling strangers on the internet to decide if you have mortal sin. You need to seek your priests guidance instead of strangers on the internet. You need to use logic and form your conscience.
