I was just wondering about how some protestants/evangilicalist call Catholics canibals because we partake in communion. So i guess my questions to those people would be " so you actualy think that priest have the authority to actualy turn the bread and wine in to the body and blood of Christ?"
Because that is the only way we could be thought of as canibals. Because if the priest didn’t have this authority the bread and wine wouldn’t turn into the body and blood of our Lord and it would be impossible for us to be canibals. so which is it? either the priest has the authority to do such a act or he doesn’t.
P.S this question isn’t for all Protestants, just the minority who seem to have such whacky ideas. I know the majority of protestants aren’t as narrow minded as some
