I felt called.
When I was pregnant, we planned on me going back to work. We sat down and figured out daycare, transportation, who would take off for sickness; all of it.
Then we had our son. I held him and at that point knew that I never wanted to leave him at daycare. My job helped me along by wanting me to come back early.
So we sat down and figured out how we were going to make it on about half pay. We cut out everything but bills and food.
I haven’t regretted a minute of it.
