Question on books about history of the church in America

Does anybody have a recommendation on good resources (i.e. books, websites) looking at the history of the Catholic Church in the US and Canada, especially prior to 1900? In particular would like those resources to be from a orthodox Catholic perspective, not the purely secular viewpoint.
