This is from religious-vocation.com/index.html
I thought it helpful website to briefly explain the different orders and religious communities
such as Carmalites, Dominican, Franciscan, Trappists, etc.
I am hoping someone can expand on what is in bold type. Thank you.

The Broken State of Our World
It should not surprise us why so many religious communities today are broken. We must remember that we are now living in the midst of one of the greatest trials in Church history. The shear number of 20th-century apparitions and miracles far outnumber all the previous centuries combined. **According to modern apparitions (Fatima, Medjugorje, Marian Movement of Priests, etc.), Satan has been granted free reign during the past century, after which he will be defeated and and era of peace will occur on earth. **Therefore, we can say with relative certainty that the moral state of humanity is now near its lowest point in history, during these final years of the reign of Satan. Like Israel in the Old Testament, we too have allowed paganism and hedonism to become the law of our land, worshipping the three-headed idol of pride, lust, and avarice. And God has granted our desires, just as He did with Israel. He has handed us over to our enemies, to the tyranny of a foreign ruler. And we have been held captive for so long, that we have become accostomed to our slavery, as if it is the normal way of life. And yet, there is still hope. Satan’s reign is now coming to an end. And just like Josiah in the OId Testament, who tore his garments after redisocvering the long-lost Scriptures (2 Chron. 34:14), we too are now beginning to rediscover our lost heritage; our true identity in Christ. But let us be clear about this. The answer is not in a certain “brand” of Catholicism, whether “traditional” or “charismatic”, which can lead to polarization and division. But it is in one thing only; love; to love God by loving what He loves; His children, His lost sheep, His Holy Mother, His Church, and His representatives on earth.

OP here:
Or maybe someone can explain if this is official CC teaching, or the teachings of religious orders…are they one and the same?

Thank you!
Blessings

Exactly 33 years to the day prior to the great Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, that is, on October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had a remarkable vision. When the aged Pontiff had finished celebrating Mass in his private Vatican Chapel, attended by a few Cardinals and members of the Vatican staff, he suddenly stopped at the foot of the altar. He stood there for about 10 minutes, as if in a trance, his face ashen white. Then, going immediately from the Chapel to his office, he composed the prayer to St. Michael, with instructions it be said after all Low Masses everywhere. When asked what had happened, he explained that, as he was about to leave the foot of the altar, he suddenly heard voices - two voices, one kind and gentle, the other guttural and harsh. They seemed to come from near the tabernacle. As he listened, he heard the following conversation:
Code:
The guttural voice, the voice of Satan in his pride, boasted to Our Lord:
“I can destroy your Church.”

The gentle voice of Our Lord:
“You can? Then go ahead and do so.”

Satan:
“To do so, I need more time and more power.”

Our Lord:
“How much time? How much power?”

Satan:
“75 to 100 years, and a greater power over those
who will give themselves over to my service.”

Our Lord:
“You have the time, you will have the power.
Do with them what you will.”
After the vision, Pope Leo XIII immediately wrote the Prayer to St. Michael to help us overcome the devil in his quest. He instructed that it be said after every low Mass.

LoveMercyGrace, I am confused about what you are asking in your OP. The section you quoted here about “The broken state of our world” seems to be just a commentary written by someone from that website. It was disturbing to find that both your referenced paragraph and the next one entitled “Married Life vs. Religious Life” had a source reference to Bl. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. When one searches John Paul’s document, neither of these paragraphs appear in his writing.

You asked for thoughts about your bolded sentence: According to modern apparitions (Fatima, Medjugorje, Marian Movement of Priests, etc.), Satan has been granted free reign during the past century, after which he will be defeated and and era of peace will occur on earth.

Again, it appears to be a personal commentary and is not at all a statement found with Fatima or any other apparition. In fact, Medjugorje is not at this time an approved apparition. EWTN’s Colin Donovan responds with regard to Fr. Gobbi of the M.M.of P. that, “The final judgment of the alleged mysticism of the Fr. Gobbi rests, therefore, with the Church.”

To my knowledge, therefore, the article you quoted from is circumspect with regard to saying that “Satan has been granted free reign.” The Church has nowhere affirmed this and we must not place any belief in these unless the Church has declared them worthy and in accord with the faith. Fatima is the only approved apparition, and I do not recall seeing any such statement about Satan’s reign claimed by the author of your article, as being attributed to any of the visionaries.

The grammar (and even spelling, such as the use of “shear” in the first sentence) of the quoted post is off. Doesn’t seem to come from a reliable source, especially if they are grouping approved and unapproved apparitions together and making sweeping claims.

That part is the most disturbing.

It is not !
can some one tell me what this post is trying to inquire of?

i been to the mary apparations-- and have seen things–

but i don’t think it is a required belief-- but if the poster-- is pointing out some spiritual revelation occurred to a pope – and we are seeing it results–

all of the apperations – main message has been “you are sinners-- and pray”

because judgement is coming

The Sedes love this vision. They say it proves that Vatican II was of the devil–that the opening occurred in 1959–75 years after the vision occurred. So–the Council was the beginning of the fulfillment of the prophecy and the destruction of the Church. Here’s an example:

stjosephschurch.net/leoxiii.htm

I have not seen anything where the Church has declared this vision to be worthy of belief, and there has been some difficulty determining exactly what happened and what time period was referred to. There is nothing questionable or heretical in the St Michael Prayer. It is a good and useful prayer. But why would God go to all the trouble he did 2000 years ago to defeat Satan and sin and death only to recant and give Satan permission to destroy the Church? Note, it does not say you may “try” to destroy the Church, it says go ahead and do it.

It sounds like a takeoff on the Book of Job.

We must always be careful and discerning of what we read and hear. There often are elements that even the visionary may misinterpret, even when a vision or apparition is determined to be worthy of belief.

The interpretation given to this vision is not part of Church teaching. It is not mandatory to believe any private revelation.

Do what your conscience dictates, but you are never required to believe in any private revelation. It is no sin not to believe, and it does not affect your salvation. And that is Church teaching, no matter what some might try to say. If you believe, fine, if you don’t, don’t let anyone try to lay a guilt trip on you–just a warning.

My post is not trying to " inquire " anything. Medjugjorji is not recognized by the Church as an confirmed miracle/apparition . It was in answer to a post.

As for the remainder of your post it obviously is not directed to me. Many people see things but they are not all from God.

OP here. Thank you. I was asking if what I bolded in sentence is a church teaching
or meaning ( although had not thought of this- approved apparitions). I see now there is a difference between the term “modern” and “approved” and I had taken one to mean the other.
I brought the question to these forums as you are live people 👍, many educated, many long time Catholics, many with life experience, available to question or comment , learn and discern from. 🙂
