Does the Catholic Church describe the nature of changing into a different man as expressed in this passage? Does it seem “merely” an internal transformation as in the case of μετάνοια, or is it something more? For instance, does it have anything to do with Jesus’ appearing in a different form on the mountain or post-resurrection as expressed in the gospel narratives, or are they unrelated?
For those who prefer the explicit:
For those who prefer the explicit:
Godspeed to whom it behooves.(1 Sam 10:6)
Then the Spirit of the LORD will come upon you
mightily, and you shall prophesy with them and be
changed into another man.
