Pope John Paul II does not disagree with me. I think he sees the light by adding more another mystery and would be very happy to those who pray that mystery more fervently, a mystery he intended for all Catholics for the love of Christ, his Holy Mother Mary and the whole Church.
By the way an indication of the number of the paragraph you quoted from the article would be good.
In Christ and Mary
The paragraph number is 19; the words are the Pope’s. The Luminous mysteries are an optional addition.🙂 I’m glad that they have helped you, but I prefer the traditional rosary.

Yes the paragraph number is the Pope’s own words. The Luminous mysteries is also the Pope’s reflective additional mystery for reason of more reflective in the mystery of the life of Christ. It is indeed a more Christological in depth addition. These mysteries will enlighten and help you and all Catholics more into the life of Christ.
In Christ and Mary

My basic question is, “What’s the big deal with Mary?” What Biblical evidence is there for how important she is?
My simple view is the great importance of Mary, passed to us in scripture, is that she is the mother of our Lord, and was there from the beginning through to having to witness the passion of her son. I personally find her a great witness to faith in God.
