As I was reading about St. Luke, it said he a Cleopas were the two on the road to Emmaus.
To me, it would make sense- Gospel writers usually don’t mention themselves out of humility (St. John calls himself the beloved disciple).
And if I am correct, the tradition is that Cleopas was the brother (or something like that) of St. Joseph?
I also like how Theophilus is usually considered a person, not a general name for a lover of God (that’s what the name means), and it explains why St. Luke did much research to make his Gospel as historically correct as possible, because this Theophilus was governor of some city, and such a position usually involves much official-ness, if you get what I mean.
