Questions about the original language of revelations

Was the Septuagint also in Koine Greek or an earlier version of Greek?
 
It was written in Koine, which was in use at the relatively late stage of ancient Greek in which it was translated.
 
If I may ask how do you know so much about the original greek language of the Bible
 
I am a priest, and about a third of my studies for the priesthood involved Scripture classes. Plus I have a Master’s in Theology with a concentration in Scripture, which I pursued because I am good with languages. And I know where to find references for this kind of information.
