Questions about the rosary?

I feel like my prayer life is a little on the weak side, I’ll usually start with devotion to the rosary, when I finish, I’ll say an our father, Hail Mary, saint michael the archangel, say my own personal prayers for blessings, world peace and etc., then end on a apostles creed and glory be. How many times a day can you say the rosary, and can you pray it without beads, because I always feel at peace when I say it, and this is all at night, I want to start praying in the morning too, so if anyone could also tell me what they pray then too would be much appreciated. Thanks and god bless.

There’s no “hard” limit, as in something like “you may pray it only X times a day and no more.”

Instead, you can see how things work out in your life, as in what kind of number “works” for you.

For example, people through the years have prayed all 15 or 20 decades of the rosary in a day. If you don’t have the time to pray more than one whole set of 5 together, you can pray additional decades in smaller groups, such as a decade or two at a time.

Yes, you can. People will use their fingers or mental counting.

If a main issue is size, there are also aids that are smaller than a full set of rosary beads, such as a single-decade rosary (linear or circular).

I have a rosary ring, which I can carry in my pocket and like to use for a number of purposes, such as other chaplets that are also said on rosary beads. There are different designs, but mine is a “flattened” ring of metal with eleven projections: a tiny crucifix and ten round bumps. (It’s not the kind of ring to be routinely worn on a finger; it’s obviously “bumpy,” and it will slip off a finger easily if not intentionally held on.) It was inexpensive, and it’s durable, compact, and convenient.
 
Pray the rosary as many times as you want. There is no limit. 👍

Feel free to pray the Rosary as often & whenever & wherever you like. It may be said without the beads. You can also use the Roasary book or a finger Rosary. I usally say a Rosary in the morning on my way to work & at night before I go to bed. I also have a Rosary CD for the car.
 
Praying it in the car is easy for me…I have a long commute to the parish.
Also, I take time (during the work day when I would be afforded a break) and pray a quick decade.
I tend to incorporate the opening prayers of the Rosary as my “before I jump out of bed and getting the sand out of my eyes” prayer, LOL
I’ll start with the Apostles Creed, an Our Father, the 3 Faith Hope and Charity Hail Mary’s and the Glory be.
That way, if I have a chance to slip in a decade here and there, I can just jump in without wondering where I left off.
You can put a small set of chaplet beads onto your key ring, or keep one of those rosary rings in the coin compartment in your car to keep count.

My morning prayer is,

Lord, help me to remember that
nothing is going to happen to me today,
that YOU and I together can’t handle.

hi, the above post is a good confession of Faith-a good example to follow…
so you want to know that thing of improvement, as your words-‘i hear’ to say’ i reach…?’-i usually make a small chaplet, for convenience-this can be only 10 beads, and a crucifix…i definately drive down the road and multi-task prayer-even one or two prayers, to repeat- hail mary-So -“i have never heard of any one praying the rosary while driving and wrecking…”😉
you ask -as implied-how many times to do the rosary, while this is formal…a soul can just say an ava maria-one hail mary-adding to this, upon awakening, through the days activities, when going to sleep…well ask the other posters, that the rosary can be a very personalized devotion-i believe that i can send my love to Mary…i believe that i can ask for a gift-it could be ambigious (or not) on the hour-and during or afterwards recieve an answer(in context for example recieve aferwards a gift within the hour)…i keep track of certain intentions (someties i canot ) but i ‘feel’ some spiritual need fulfilled-going beyond my weaknesses-if impelled to ask for humility-seems i might have needed the gift of humility to even ask for humility;how so? does that dilemma get solved? well, my impulse is that i need that ‘special something’ for improvement-don’t have the strength…yet, with not even a hint of what i could ask-Mother Mary hears a plea of her children, adopted/ you know? She is going to give your prayer to Jesus, notice that the queen of heaven improves on your prayer, as the wonderful result…in known…( i am suprised sometimes) so do not doubt that even one Hail Mary offers a moment to meet your deepest spiritual needs.

seems Mary melts the icicle, frozen around my heart-if you only knew how cold that could get-yet my confession of faith of the Rosary-is to feel the melting drip/ Notice Mary and Jesus will not only be in the imagery of instructional phamplets-bur Mary and Jesus (you will disccover) will begin to invite you and ‘use’ you for the greatest good…i believe you are at the point of being ready for it-so don’t be suprised…
