Hey everybody,
I am looking for a specific quote, but am coming up empty-handed. I forget the exact author, but for some reason I have the thought that it is from a 19th/20th Century British author, somehow associated with George Bernard Shaw, HG Wells, and their ilk.
Somewhere this author makes the point that they are pro-evangelization. They state that Christians who do not evangelize to atheists like the author in question are acting uncharitably. They do not respect those who do not evangelize, because they see that person as essentially resigning them to damnation due to their lack of effort.
A Penn Jillette quote comes up in all of my searches, but it is not what I am looking for.
Are any of you familiar with the passage I am referring to?
Thanks,
JDeLaValette
