I have my own ideas about this quote and it doesn’t appear that others have said what I want to. Before I post my own response, does anyone else want to explain what is wrong with this argument?

I have already stated the obvious…in order to explain away nine versions by one man, Hinkley tries to compare 4 versions by 4 men.

It is a typical red herring argument.
