Today, February 21, 2018, at age 99, William “Billy” Graham has left this world and departed into eternity. For those who don’t know, Billy Graham was a devout Christian and Evangelist who spread the gospel to many and lead many people into belief of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Billy Graham had a strong passion for the gospel and a true love of God which, even throughout his many years of living, never once shrunk or diminished. Billy Graham has been the spiritual guide and counselor of not only many close friends and companions, but also many presidents dating decades back. Even in old age, when his hearing and sight began to diminish, he still left the world in the same way he entered it; with a smile on his face.
Now Billy Graham finally gets to see the Lord he has longed to behold for his entire life, and he will now enter into eternity, where the result of his passions will be given to him. Lets take this moment to set aside denominations and other issues and lament the loss of a man dear to God, and to celebrate the life of a beautiful soul who’s unwavering love can only be explained as a gift from God himself. Let us sincerely pray with the utmost confidence and brightest hope, that he can now be with his Lord forever in Paradise.
Let us meditate on John 11:35:
“25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life;[a] he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,” – Jesus Christ
