Actor Larry Drake died yesterday at age 66. He was best known for playing the developmentally disabled character, Benny, on “L.A. Law”. I was never a regular watcher of that show, so I knew him more from his villainous turn in the movie Darkman, starring Liam Neeson in the title role, and directed by Sam Raimi who would go on to make the first Spider-Man trilogy.

Rest in peace, Mr. Drake.

I was fairly familiar with the character Larry Drake played on LA Law so my deepest condolences. He played the role well though I understand he himself was not developmentally challenged.
