Our Grandmother insisted we say the Rosary together, when she visited. I remember she would often lead the prayers. It was incredibly fast. My brother termed it “racecaller’s Rosary”. Getting finished soon did seem a priority.

Every one has their kind of cute trait saying prayers 🙂
I’ve prayed with people who put certain emphasis on the last word,or say it sing songy. It was all good .
Where two or three are gathered in MyName…
Praying alone,I kind of long for the days of race caller rosaries

Group prayer has gotta be powerful. Families that do it must have effect.

There’s an older guy at the church where we say the rosary after Mass on Saturday mornings. I call him “the auctioneer” when he leads his decade. He has a rapid fire delivery!

I’ve heard of old ladies who would say the Rosary so fast the beads would practically catch on fire as they slid through their hands! 😱

Personally I can’t say it fast like that…it’s hard enough trying to say the words and meditate on the mysteries at the same time. It takes me a minimum of 15-25 minutes to say it slowly and purposefully…which sometimes leads to me wanting to put it off till I have sufficient time.
