Hi Folks, I am from Ireland and this morning on a secular music forum in my local area, I received what I feel to be Racial abuse and discrimination towards my Christianity.

the words are too strong to write here but instead I have provided a link and invite you to read this vile post that was made towards me, I also ask for you prayers for this person.
I was wondering if you could help me in regards to this, what should I do? so far all I have found is a paragraph from the code of Canon Law .

1369 A person who in a public show or speech, in published writing, or in other uses of the instruments of social communication utters blasphemy, gravely injures good morals, expresses insults, or excites hatred or contempt against religion or the Church is to be punished with a just penalty.

The Link is a link to the exact page of the post, I am under the title ‘‘Steve’’ and the offender is under the title ‘‘Jacksragingbileduct’’

what I want to know is…is what he said discrimination towards me? and also what exactly is that paragraph of the code of Canon Law saying? what should I do other than pray for the man ?

satan is everywhere, isn’t he?

I think that I would post that I was praying for him…

I wouldn’t participate on a forum that allows the f-bomb all the time.

And close my membership immediately.

I think he’s just ticked off about God. He’s got some issues far exceeding you or anyone else helping him right now and all you can do is pray.

Stephen, I’m regretful for the hurt and stress you feel.
However, some people are just really annoyed when others mention religion. It sounds sanctimonious and superstitious to them. His post was about him, his reaction, not about you really.
The Lord tells us to “pray for your enemies” so yes…good can come out of this. You may be the only person who ever prayed for this person!

I’m not sure why you think the Code of Canon Law has anything to do with an anonymous internet poster saying ugly things to you.

I’d just stay away from that forum. People tend to write…rather boldly let’s say.

Hey, you think the Lord himself didn’t have worse said to his face. He never said it was easy. Take it as a medal of your faith, and walk away.

Upon skimming through the exchange you had on this other forum, I wonder why you are spending any time there at all. It looks like poor company.

One thing I have to mention, I believe it’s considered poor netiquette to recruit from one forum people to help you argue on another one. Forum moderators don’t appreciate that. There’s a term for this that I can’t remember, and it’s generally frowned in the bulletin board community.
