Awhile back there was a small cult that had a show on public access (in my area at least). It was run by African-Americans who claimed to be bishops and dressed like a Jewish high priests. They stated on their show that Puerto Ricans, African-Americans, Pacific Islanders, Chinese and several other minority groups were the descendants of the twelve tribes of Israel and that they alone could be saved. They taught on their show that Caucasians are the “children of Esau”, are “the most fornicating people on the planet”, and that Christ’ suffering and death was not for Whites and consequently they were not eligible to be included in the New Covenant and were condemned to hell by virtue if being white.

Has anyone else run across this group? Any info about them?

Hi.

Without a name for the group, it’s location or a name of a leader, I have been unable to find out more for you. Do you happen to have any names of the groups, leaders, or their geographical locations? (Be mindful that you shouldn’t give direct links to such sites per CAF rules.)

Not a clue. Just wondering if anyone else did, or knew anything else about them.

Sounds like a kind of inverted version of the “Christian Identity” cranks.

I saw them on Manhattan cable back in the 90’s. They were funny, in a pathetic sort of way, for about 7 or 8 seconds, but then they started to become repetitive.

Judging by the vocabulary and grammar they used, I used to wonder whether any of them could actually read. Whether they could think was something I did not wonder about.

Remember: all you needed to have your own show on that channel was a video camera, a blank tape, and a time slot.

It was not required to have intelligence, sanity, originality, or even a passing familiarity with any facts.

There is no such thing as a “racist Christian group”. The terms are contradictory by all the descriptions of racist and Christian. This is a free country and you can call yourself anything you want but the same freedom gives me the right to call someone a liar when they call themselves a Christian racist:rolleyes:

I think they are Black Hebrew Israelites, aka, “black jews”

In late 2008, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) described as black supremacist what it called “the extremist fringe of the Hebrew Israelite movement”. It **wrote that the members of such groups “believe that Jews are devilish impostors and … openly condemn whites as evil personified, deserving only death or slavery”. **The SPLC also said that “most Hebrew Israelites are neither explicitly racist nor anti-Semitic and do not advocate violence”.[54]
The Black Hebrew groups characterized as black supremacist by the SPLC include the Nation of Yahweh[55] and the Israelite Church of God in Jesus Christ.[54] Also, the Anti-Defamation League has written that the “12 Tribes of Israel” website, maintained by a Black Hebrew group, promotes black supremacy.[56]

I expect that being ‘mud people’ in the eyes of Christian Identity adherents was likely to bring forward a mirror response.

They do seem to share convictions about the sheer naughtiness of us Jews!
