It’s disturbing that society thinks “strong” is one of the best qualities, rather than: good, moral, compassionate, prayerful, faithful, loving, sexy, modest, intelligent, creative, etc.

Yes!
Not a single one of the values above can be lived unquestioned by society. Faith sometimes needs to be defend in strength, also morality and charity. Intelligence and creativity can lead others to envy - a person needs strength to deal with it.

I agree with the others. With the possible exception of intelligence, none of those virtues are possible to achieve without strength.

People think of chastity as a “soft” virtue, but it’s not.
