RCIA and divorced person

Hello all,
I am attending RCIA and hope to become a Catholic this coming Easter. My question is, since I am divorced and have started the anullment process, will I be allowed to become a Catholic if my anullment has not been granted yet? Or if it not granted at all?

If you have no intention of getting remarried, the annulment process isn’t even necessary.
As long as you are living a chaste life according to the standards the Church sets out for single persons, you are fine.

What seems like a simple question isn’t always a simple question and so the answer ends up being “talk with your pastor.” He’s the one who knows you and your situation.

In part it depends on your current marital status. It also depends on information from your previous marriage – were either of you baptized Catholic, were you married according to Catholic form, were you both baptized at all, etc.

A lot of well-intentioned people are going to give you various answers, but since none of us has all the information needed we can’t answer authoritatively. So…

Talk with your pastor.
 
For the status of the marriage sure, but as for becoming Catholic, the question asked, the answer is simple is it not?
 
I was divorced and had not started an annullment process when I was received into the Catholic church. I was not engaged, was not living with anyone and was not even dating.
I began the annullment process around 8 years after joining.
You don’t say if you are engaged or in a relationship with anyone now, so I think it would be a good idea to make an appointment and talk with your priest.
