Oh me too! I have been positively bereft the last couple of weeks not having the opportunity to get together. Like you I am doing extra reading. As I read additional things I want to discuss them with the RCIA team and my friends on the journey. I have a long list of questions for this week’s meeting!I’m currently in RCIA as well . I’m really enjoying the whole experience. We’ve been off for a couple of weeks for Christmas, and I really miss it! I’ve been doing extra reading in the meantime. The more I read and learn, the more I want to know!
I would like to thank you for your time and dedication. Our RCIA team is just the BEST. They give up so much time and they give up the Eucharist while we are doing the dismissal. May all of your on RCIA teams be blessed.RCIA is the Rite of Christian Intiation for Adults. It is for adults wishing to join the faith who have not been baptized or received the sacarements of confirmation and Eucharist. Or it is for anyone who not been baptized. I went through the class myself in 1994 and am now part of our parish RCIA team.

Lisa - I am sure the members of your team don’t feel as though they are giving up anything. It truly blesses me to see to spirit work in our candidates & catechumates. Every year I learn so much. I group actually meets on Monday evenings so we don’t have a dismissal of the group. That works out well for us.
I wish you and everyone on this journey of faith all the best and may God Bless you!

Well I think they are a wonderful and dedicated group to sacrifice part of Mass for us, plus we meet on Thursday nights as well. So I appreciate your comments as I am just so appreciative of the time and commitment of our RCIA team. As someone who was very nervous about this big change in my life, I felt right at home with both the team and my fellow candidates/catechumates. I’m heading there in about half an hour!I
