I would like to give thank-you gifts to members of the RCIA “team” at the last class before Christmas, but I don’t want to make anyone feel bad if they did not give (I also don’t want to look like a brownnoser). Is it sufficient to bring a basket of Christmas cookies for everyone and a single thank you card addressed to the team members to put on the table? Or should I give individual notes with or without a gift card (small amount)?

I think cookies for everyone sounds like a great idea! It’s nice to feel appreciated and that would certainly do it for me.

I think cookies and a group Christmas card wth a personally written thank you sentiment inside would be just the right touch.

I don’t think individual gifts are appropriate.

I am doing the Cookie thing as well…simple and everyone can have some. 😃

As someone who is on an RCIA Team I quite agree with the cookies-for-all approach.

Go for the cookies. What a treat for everyone. As for a card, why don’t you get a card and have everyone who is going through the process sign it. That way no one is left out or feeling bad because they did not think of it or couldn’t get to it as the season is already so busy

Excellent idea!
