RCIA-ish links?

I am looking for some helpful websites and I figured you guys would be a good source. I will probably not be able to attend RCIA, but I don’t feel that I have a good enough understanding of the Catholic faith, the symbolism in the mass, the doctrines, etc. to be confirmed. I want to see if you could guide me to some credible sources of information which I could study to better understand it that are comparable to what one would receive in RCIA.

The book, Catholicism for Dummies, by Fr. John Trigilio and someone else whose name escapes me, is a thorough and reliable presentation of things you need to know to be a well-informed Catholic. You could probably find it used on Amazon for a nice low price.

Just remember “for dummies” and not “for idiots.” Balto Betsy is quite correct. It is a fine book as an alternate to the knowledge imparted in RCIA and, depending on the particular parish where the RCIA program is being put on, may be superior. Only about $15 new from Amazon.com. I liked it so much I bought a copy for each of my six adult off-spring and their families.
