Hello,
I have a question and I have searched multiple forums to find the answer but have found nothing that mentions my exact situation I would be very interested in help on answering this question.
I was baptized a Catholic at birth (or so I am told by my parents) but after 2 years they left the faith and I was raised Protestant. I am currently starting the RCIA program in my local parish but have a question. My wife, who is very anti-Catholic to say the least, will never allow our marriage to be blessed by the church. Neither of us have been married before so no divorces in the wings of our union.
Since I only received my baptism and no other rite do I still have to have my marriage blessed to be in full communion with the church and partake of the Eucharist?
Thank you for reading my question.
