The Easter Vigil is getting closer, are you as excited as I am? I am so looking forward to my daugher and I being received in full communion to the RCC. I’m also still trying to keep my focus on Lent.

My husband is in RCIA this year. I am a 2007 grad 😃 I don’t know which one of us is more excited. He is on pins and needles, and I am counting down the days. Congrats:thumbsup:

I’m very excited too! Me and a few others at RCIA are being baptised and confirmed this Easter also, only one of us isn’t being baptised so it’s a completely fresh start for most of us!

I can’t wait! :harp:

Congratulation to all of you. I too will be received into the Church this year but have to wait until after Easter. I have 6 weeks to go and can’t wait!

I’m so excited too! And a little nervous because I don’t know what’s going to happen yet 😃

Only two more weeks!!! I can’t believe that I will finally be completely home!

Congrats to all! I’m excited…but scared too because my husband is still against it and holding onto ultimatums. Fearful my journey home will bring more changes than I bargained for. That being said I’m trying to have faith that this is the best choice I will have ever made…and that God will protect me no matter what.

Hope everyone’s journey is smooth and full of peace!

It is the best choice you have ever made and God will protect you no matter what, even if it does not seem like it at the time; trust the Holy Spirit. Welcome Home!

Third Scrutiny yesterday and Sacrament of Reconciliation last week, I had been so nervous about that, but it turned out to be wonderful. I am still SO EXCITED!
Zipper, I hope things work out for you because you are doing the right thing. This is something that I felt I HAD to do, hard to explain though. When my daughter and I began our journey home to the RCC my husband said he fully supported us, and he does in his own way, but I don’t think he realized how much time it would involve. He is only home on weekends because of his job, and I do feel some resentment from him about the time it takes away from our time together. The answer would be for him to convert :D, although I don’t see that happening any time soon.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!!!

Very happy for all of you… but very jealous since it means I still have a year to go 😃

My first confession is Thursday. Pray for me! (and for Father who has to hear it. :D)

Almost there, almost there, almost there!

I remember how excited I was this time last year when I was waiting for my Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion at the Easter Vigil.

Good luck to everyone preparing to be received into the Church this year, your patients and dedication is about to pay off in a big way.

Yeah, I’m pretty excited, too! Trying to have patience and enjoy the journey, but I can hardly wait for Easter Vigil!
