Well, I hope that whoever took that video sends it to the Vatican, rather than just making it available online. It would do a lot more good that way.

I could choose to be angry at Cardinal Mahoney, and I would probably be justified.

Or I can pray fervently that he will understand SOMEDAY how these types of things scandelize the faithful who are aware of how the Mass is supposed to be celebrated.

I guess I’ll choose to pray, cause getting angry just tears me up and really doesn’t do any good. I’ve spent too much time and tears wondering why it’s so hard to celebrate the liturgy obediently, even in my own diocese.

Maybe Our Lady will intercede for the City of Angels.
