RE: Novena of Prayer adn Fasting, with a catch

We here in Missouri have a evil proposition on the ballot this November. In order to help combat that I want to undertake a Novena of prayer and fasting.

But there is a slight problem. All Saints Day falls in the middle, and I’m not sure that it would be appropriate to fast on that day. Should I start my Novena one day sooner, and pass over that day, or maintain the schedule, and abstain form fasting for one day of it?
 
Technically every Sunday is a feast day, but we don’t normally interrupt our novenas for those. I’d do the nine days and fast through All Saints as well.
 
I would do the Novena on the nine days leading up to All Saints Day (don’t forget to ask for the intercession of the Saints in regard to your intention!) and then feast on All Saints with a clear mind.
