Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today I am beginning another re-reading of the book, “The Love of Eternal Wisdom”, translated from the French and Annotated by A. Somers, S.M.M. who states in the “Forward” of this little book:
…St. LouisMarie de Montfort gives us a valuable abridgment of his spirituality which can be summed up in the words of St. Paul: “Christ living in us.”

Christ lives in all Christians who are in the state of grace. In the great majority, however, the Christian life is only as it were in embryo. Montfort’s aim is to develop that embryo until Christ has come to the fullness of His age in us. That is until we have become perfect Christians…

…It is unfortunate and a loss to the spiritual life of many that Montfort’s great devotion to Jesus, Eternal Wisdom is not so well known as his devotion to the Blessed Virgin…

May our Lady, the Mother and Seat of Divine Wisdom, obtain that grace for all the readers of this little book.
God willing, I would like to start a series of threads while reading this book. I’ll be using the online version HERE.

I hope others will begin to read and will follow the threads, adding comments or questions. By God’s Grace may we grow in Christ, through Mary, by the power of His Holy Spirit.
