My 13 yr old daughter has really been questioning God’s existence lately. Even though I am a practicing Catholic, I’m not always good at explaining things. I did buy her the Prove It books about God and Jesus but I would love some other reading suggestions - especially something that is geared toward teens that we could read together.

Books are nice, if she chooses to read them. If you’re a lukewarm Catholic/believer she’ll see it as an attempt to slough off your doubts onto someone else.

Be the best Catholic you can be and when she asks tell her the answer is already inside her. I.E. “You feel it, don’t you?”

Formed.org is a Catholic content platform. Many parishes offer it free to their members, or a subscription is like Netflix.

They have an excellent series for teens called “Why Believe”.

I would suggest you read Trent Horn’s book “Why We’re Catholic” and share it with your teen.

While the articles may be a bit complex for the average 13 year old, you might read this essay by Dr Peter Kreeft and that would help you answer questions:
