I’m going (ttempt) to do National Novel Writing Month and I was thinking of using a character who has a near-death experience.
One possibility is that he wants to enter the priesthood afterward but that won’t work (what do I know about being a priest?) so I need a valid reason for him to be rejected that is not discreditable – either as a Catholic or a person.
