Reasons for leaving the Catholic Church....

While working on a research paper, I came across this website that was recommended. Anyways, in one section there are two guy’s reasons for leaving the Church. I was wondering though, some of this stuff I hear often and would like to know how we should respond to this.

ignore them every thing on that site is a lie i would even doubt that the man who wrote it had ever been in a Catholic church.

You need not fret over this, the Catholic church has come under persecution since they persecuted Jesus himself. These will come against the body of Jesus Christ but never ever will they prevail, you have this promise from Jesus Christ himself.

Now as far as delving into this non denominational false claims about the Catholic church. It may do you well to get better informed and catechised correctly about the Catholic faith before listening to the deceptions of the “Serpent”. Recieving the Sacrament of Confirmation will protect you against such falsehoods.

As far as non denominations, many of them argue Catholic 2000 years of Christian doctrine, when they do not have any Christian doctrine to stand on.

Christian Doctrine in the Catholic church is the back bone of Christianity. Many non catholics have deviated from these apostolic doctrines, or selected which ones to keep and which ones to deny and which ones to invent themselves.

I visited your requested site, and the first sentence confirms that these authors have not the correct understanding of the Catholic faith and her Apostolic doctrines. What you have is a 20th century christian interpretation of the bible that will change, has changed, and will blow in the wind from the test of time.

Thank you for your reply. I actually received the Sacrament of Comfirmation last year with the older ones and I’ve been studying the faith a lot. But, there were a few arguments there that I hear at my Baptist school, so should I just respond with pretty much respond with what you said?

If you already recieved the sacrament of Confirmation?
What happened to the days when it took 3 to 5 years just to get fully initiated into the Kingdom of God? but that’s another thread;

You said you attend a Baptist school? can you elaborate a little more of what this Baptist school is? Is it part of your Catholic diocese?

Maybe the best thing is, to lay out the arguments here and see if the forum can help you. In other words can you repeat the questions your hearing out there to this forum? so as to respond and or refer you to your Catholic answer.

I would like to add, that your confirmation is already producing friut by you being here at your age, but you are in good hands in these Catholic forums.
