There is one parish that offers the Tridetine Mass and I’d like to go and take my mother. I understand that during this rite you are supposed to kneel and receive on the tongue. Is that correct? Or is it similar to the NO, that people receive either in the hand or on the tongue, but always standing? My other question is, if you are supposed to kneel, what does someone, like my mom, who is elderly and can’t kneel do? Can they simply stand? Thanks for shedding light on the subject.
