Why don’t you ask the director of the RCIA program? This should give an answer which takes in the needs of the Parish, as well as your own needs.

I am a member of RRT’s parish. He didn’t have to ask the RCIA director about this, as it was taught outright that a communicant may receive standing or kneeling, according to what one feels called to do. Clear instructions were given for each possible way.
