Our hosts are not the dissolve-in-your-mouth kind, you pretty much need to chew them. I have been to masses before where I’ve had the kind that dissolve and I must admit that I do like them better. But either way, they are both valid and proper. As long as things are done with care and reverence I don’t think chewing or allowing it dissolve really matter. No one has mentioned this, but we also receive the precious blood at our church, and that helps me (I hope that didn’t sound too weird or rude- not sure how else to word it). Do any of you receive both at your church?
