Hello,
I just want to share something with you and see whether you may know what this experience is, could mean or whether you have experienced something similar. Please excuse me as I try to explain it as it is very difficult for me to explain.

There are a few instances over the last few years where I may across a person on the street or someone who I pass in the corridor at the hospital I work in, and when I look at that person for a moment, I begin to really see that person and then I am in awe of how intertwined God is with the human race, just by looking at that person. I could be watching them walk, using a trolley or holding their child in their arms. At times it has caused me to become internally emotional as for that moment I am in awe of God’s profound love found in the dignity of the human person who was created in His own image. This does not occur with everyone I see of course but when it does, for a moment, I feel an incredible amount of peace for which no monetary value item can buy nor any material experience in the world could compare and it is then I truly have a small taste in understanding how or why our Lord loves humility and deeply treasures the poor. I try and use this a form of contemplative prayer as I know in that moment I am recognising and acknowledging the hand of God in His creation.

I am so interested if anyone has this experience and if they please wouldn’t mind sharing this experience or experiences? I am very interested in this topic and would absolutely love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you and may God bless you and keep you.
