Recommend Christmas cd's

Give us the name of your favorite Christmas cd. I was looking for one by Eva Cassidy but she only recorded 2 Christmas songs prior to her death. I heard a Christmas cd playing @ a local music store one year of old Russian carols but have never been able to track that one down.

My all-time favorite Christmas CD is Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song” album. It is a wonderful combination of secular and sacred music. For instance, Deck the Halls is followed by Adeste Fidelis. That combination is disticntly American and sums up why Christmas is the most popular holiday in this country.

And of course Nat King Cole had a classic voice that just oozes Christmas sentiments.
