So, here’s a question regarding forgiveness and reconcilation with those around us. So, in accordance with the teachings of Jesus, Ive made a point to go back to those whom I’ve wronged or whom have wronged me and reconcile with them. I think its fair to say I don’t hold any grudges, but I still find it hard to resolve with people due to other circumstances. For instance, me and my family have had an issue with our next-door neighbor for a long time, but it has never been my personal issue, I simply stay away from them, aswell as some other family members we’ve been in bad situations with, at the command of my parents. While the fight in these scenarios hasn’t ever really been my own, and mostly these tensions exist because, while we try to be peaceful, one thing or another denies any kind of resolution to be reached, mostly because most of these others simply don’t seek reconciliation. If one party (me or my family) seeks to reconcile but the other does not, what must happen?

As long as you try to reconcile your soul is clear. Then it becomes the problem of the person you have wronged. They must forgive you.
