Any one a fan of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers? Bought Their cd Stadium Arcadium and it totally rocks dudes/dudettes! But the best song still happens to be the hit single Dani California.

Some of their lyrics are unquestionably awful, but they can certainly get me up and going in the mornings 
I work at a Walmart bakery which is right near the front entrance. A TV monitor hangs from the ceiling right between the bakery and the registers, so that the incoming customers (and I) can see and hear the latest offerings in the electronics department. So the WalMart TV Network is playing clips (clips, not full-length) of music videos 24 hours a day.
And when this song comes on, I just want to take a brick and send it flying through the lead singer’s face!:banghead: <(this is actually what I usually end up doing!)
Nothing personal–I wanted to do the same to James “you’re beautiful” Blunt; The Wreckers (“Leave the pieces when you go”); and Billy Currington (“why, why, why do you want to change me now?” Because I’m sick of listening to you and I’m going crazy!)
Try listening to video clips for a seven-hour period–the same 20-odd songs, the same clips, with no escape. Rap, country, rock, Latin–aaargh!
Some quiet time would be nice… especially in the early mornings when there aren’t many customers around!

Lol, bluerose. We have to listen to this fuddy-duddy mix station at work and they play the same songs I swear like 10 times a day in the 8 hours I’m there. “You’re Beautiful” by James Blunt and the “Bad Day” song by that one guy…oh and a song that I used to like but it got ruined for me: that Tim McGraw song about living your life to the fullest and stuff…MAKE IT STOP! sob 
But anyway, yeah, Red Hot Chili Peppers are cool. I really like the Dani California song. The video is really inventive too.

Interesting that you should bring this up. I was a fan waaay back in the day, but recently had the conversation that they (the Chili Peppers) must be in a creative slump as their last two big hits have been about California ~ Dani California and Kalifornication. Anywho, just my observation.
