I work at a Wal
mart bakery which is right near the front entrance. A TV monitor hangs from the ceiling right between the bakery and the registers, so that the incoming customers (and I) can see and hear the latest offerings in the electronics department. So the WalMart TV Network is playing clips (clips, not full-length) of music videos 24 hours a day.
And when this song comes on, I just want to take a brick and send it flying through the lead singer’s face!:banghead: <(this is actually what I usually end up doing!)
Nothing personal–I wanted to do the same to James “you’re beautiful” Blunt; The Wreckers (“Leave the pieces when you go”); and Billy Currington (“why, why, why do you want to change me now?” Because I’m sick of listening to you and I’m going crazy!)
Try listening to video clips for a seven-hour period–the same 20-odd songs, the same clips, with no escape. Rap, country, rock, Latin–aaargh!

Some quiet time would be nice… especially in the early mornings when there aren’t many customers around!
Okay, sorry to hijack, but this has been on me for a while. Enjoy your music.
