Reformation Book Recommendations

Ok. Not sure where I should post this exactly. I’m looking for a good book on reformation history. Something readable to the average, college educated, American adult…

Here’s where it get’s hairy though. This is a gift for my brother who is a Reformed protestant and who would be uncomfortable with something that has too strong a Catholic bias (ie, no Belloc). However, as a Catholic I am hesitant to gift him anything that has too strong a Protestant bias. Ideally I would like something that, while not too dry, tends to lean in on the facts with as little bias as possible.

I realize that’s a tall order, which is why I’m asking here for recommendations.
 
I’d go with Diarmaid MacCulloch/THE REFORMATION.

I’ve collected Belloc for over 50 years, so I know what you mean. He is fun, though.
