Hi,
I am not sure if “Reformed Catholic” is the proper usage, but I attended a wedding over the weekend where the Bishop who administered the ceremony, was supposedly one of these. He was dressed in the traditional attire during the ceremony, and I did not realize his views were counter to church teaching until he said it was okay for unmarried men and women to live together before marriage. He called himself “Catholic” but was obviously some part of a sect? What type of group does this person belong too? I was offended how badly he represented Catholic clergy (how he dressed, talked, etc), even if he was not actually “Catholic”.
Thanks
