Regis Philbin, requiescat in pace

I haven’t seen anything here on CAF regarding the passing of Regis Philbin, so I would like to offer a short prayer for the repose of his soul, and invite others to do the same.

Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine. Et lux perpetua luceat ei. Fidelium animae, per misericordiam Dei, requiescat in pace.

I realize his life story is not perfect, with regard to his first family, but none of us are without sin, we don’t know all the circumstances, and it would be very easy for an outsider to look at me, and say that I have not always done the absolutely best and right things with regard to my own family. De mortui nil nisi bonum.
